Meet Emily
Hi, I'm Emily.
For almost a decade, I've been blending canine development, communication, learning theory, behavioral science, and neuroscience to understand how to help humans and dogs thrive together. Six years ago, I moved to Colorado Springs and began working professionally in the dog rescue and training industry. There, I found my true passion - empowering others (and their pups) with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed as a family. Each dog, human, and household presents a unique puzzle with an individual path to success. I strive to tailor my services and my continuing education to create positive change in the lives of my clients.

Some dogs and families need a little extra help. Whether it's through time, capability, expertise or something else, Smile & Wag wants to support you. Adventure Club offers discounted adventure training for those in need of frequent Adventure Train sessions.
Maybe life has thrown some unexpected chaos your way, or perhaps you have a dog with challenges your dog walker isn't equipped to handle just yet. Smile & Wag wants to support you (and your neighborhood dog walker if they want to learn!) in helping grow your dog's world and their skills in a way that feels safe and comfortable for you, your dog, and your community.
